Furniture restoration is an art in and of itself. At Sugar Creek Woodworking we take pride in helping you restore that one of a kind piece of furniture that you love so much. Carefully, we use chemical stripping to strip years of unwanted old paint or other finish off your furniture, our restoration techniques help restore your original piece of furniture to its wood core and then we will either send it back to you, or we can apply the finishing coat using our finishing equipment to make your old furniture piece look like new.

Of course refinishing is not all of the services we can provide you. Maybe you have an old piece of furniture where the wood veneer has all but peeled away or become damaged in some way. Sugar Creek Woodworking can repair or replace wood veneer.

Are you missing a wooden leg on that old table, coffee table, night stand or chair? Sugar Creek Woodworking can duplicate exact replicas of turned wood pieces using our wood turning equipment. We can also replicate wood carvings that have been damaged or nearly destroyed as well as creating new wood carvings.

But we don’t stop there Sugar Creek Woodworking also does seat caning to repair tattered old pieces of furniture worn by many years of usage. These furniture pieces can have the caning carefully repaired or replaced, in most cases replaced, to restore the caning back to its original state of beauty.

Repurposing furniture is the art of giving an older piece of furniture a new lease on life. Adding a drawer to a daybed to allow it to serve a dual purpose is an example of repurposing furniture.
