Re-Purposing Furniture
Recreating New from the Old
This daybed needed some TLC.
The customer didn’t want to use the couch as a daybed so the frame was redesigned with a drawer for blanket and pillow storage.
When repairs were complete then we reupholstered the couch.
A new back and drawer was created and then stained to match the existing woodwork.
Our customer was very pleased with the final result.
When this chest of drawers was stripped of the orange paint, the customer was pleased that the wood turned out to be mahogany!
New drawers with slides were made.
The chest was stained a light mahogany to highlight the natural beauty of the wood and then sprayed with a clear coat of lacquer. A butcher's block was placed on top. An old, ugly broken down chest of drawers was re-purposed and is now a beautiful kitchen island.
